Day Without a Bag Summit to be Held in Los Angeles

The inaugural  DAY WITHOUT A BAG summit will be held on Wednesday, December 15 at the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works Headquarters in Alhambra, CA.  This free, half-day tutorial will guide everyone who attends step-by-step on how to lay out municipal plans to reduce single use bag consumption. Local policy makers, community activists and environmental advocates will provide real-life case studies and in-the-trenches advice on.  Just some of the notable panelists scheduled to attend are: Kirsten James, Water Quality Director, Heal the Bay,  Andy Keller, Founder of ChicoBag, Coby Skye, Civil Engineer for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, Mayor Richard Montgomery, City of Manhattan Beach  Also invited  is Gavin Newsom, Lt. Gov.-elect and  as well as all the LA County Supervisors.
