Sara Bayles – Documents Plastic Pollution from the Beaches of Santa Monica

Bag Monsters across the country watch with bated breath to see how many of our young are collected in the plastic pollution round-up being waged by California “Tree Hugger” Sara Bayles.

She walks the beach daily and is collecting, weighing, and documenting beach trash on her blog, the Daily Ocean.  Plastic Pollution is gaining a lot of attention recently because of the TEDx event dedicated to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
